Getting Started

- Begin at the Training Center is the Market Foundations after the Welcome Orientation.
- Please complete the Personality Test Assessment in Market Foundations, Module 1, Unit 1 and send over the four letter result from the Meyers Briggs personality assessment via email to Jade at jade@mavericktrading.com. She will update this in your file.
- Complete the Market Foundations section.
- Complete the Market Master section along with the 200 simulator trades.
- Sign up for your online Tradebench Journal when you begin the Market Master Module 5 section. You can go to www.tradebench.com to sign up for on. Log all of your simulator trades in your Tradebench Journal and submit the completed journal to Joe Jensen at joe@mavericktrading.com for review.
- Start the Psychology Corner section when you get to Market Master Module 5. You must complete the Psychology Corner section prior to starting the Directional Options section.
- Complete the Option Foundations section.
- Demo Trading begins in the Directional Options section and continues through the Non-Directional Options section.
- Complete the Demo trading requirements from the Directional and Non Directional Options sections.
- When you have completed all of the sections through to the end of Advanced Concepts and your journal of a minimum of two months of trades have been logged in your journal along with your completed trading plan, please follow the instructions for submitting them for the Management Review in the last section of this page.
Important Things You Need to Know
1. You will notice the instructors will say, “Get started on your trading plan right away!”
If you are new to trading, do not be alarmed. We find that we have a good mix of traders with varied trading experience.
The Trading Plan is intended to be a work in progress that you will work as you complete all of the Training materials through to the end of the Advanced Concepts section. It is submitted at the Management Review level.
If the concepts in the fillable PDF’s are new to you or you are unable to answer the questions, not to worry. Please save the documents in a folder on your computer. Label it “Trading Plan” and revisit it at a later date after you have covered more of the curriculum.
For seasoned traders, please save the forms to your computer and fill them out as you move through the curriculum.
*N.B. Please save the PDF’s to your system first, then open in an Adobe Product. Type a test phrase and save to your computer. Ensure it has saved. Then proceed to fill in PDFs. If this step has been missed, the PDFs may not save the information you have filled in.
2. We have a Search Box in the upper left of your screen to assist you with finding our materials if you want to go back and review any concepts at a later date.
3. Just a tip for quiz and test taking – the test will appear before the end of the module, it is recommended to take the test last. For example if a test appears in Module 3, Unit 1, but there are additional units. Please complete Unit 1, skip the test, then complete all the other units, and come back to the test/quiz as the final item you complete before moving on to the next module.
4.The Psychology Corner section is intended to be completed prior to the start of the Directional Options section. It is best done concurrently with the Market Master and the Option Foundations sections. You will find it very helpful for when you begin working on your Demo/Paper Currency trades. This section covers Trading Psychology and the more common pitfalls traders may experience.
5.The Additional Content section is a Bonus section for traders who have completed the Training Center core requirements and been approved for the Capital Sharing Program (Live Trading). We recommend that Demo/Paper Trading be done in Think or Swim PaperMoney. Please sign up for an account when you begin the Directional Options section.

It is not necessary to do so any sooner as you will not be using the software until you are working on Directional Options/Module 1/Unit 3. At present time, Schwab is not available outside the US.
Tasty Trades is an alternative for international members. Access for Canadians is scheduled for some time in 2024.
**If you are located outside of the US, you will be unable to get a Think or Swim PaperMoney account, you can sign for an Interactive Brokers IBKR Desktop account.
6. The Additional Content section is a Bonus section for traders who have completed the Training Center core requirements and been approved for the Capital Sharing Program (Live Trading). The material in here does not require completion. You can skip this section.
7. You must complete the process laid out by Maverick in order to qualify to be submitted to the capital sharing program, there will be NO EXCEPTIONS!

When you have completed the Training Center materials, please submit your journal login credentials (username & password) consisting of of a minimum of two months, of profitable, consistent, and consecutive trading along with your Trading Plan to the support inbox at support@mavericktrading.com and put, “Management Review Request – Options” in the subject line.
