The Northeast is the historic core of US capital markets — the NYSE, NASDAQ, and most of Wall Street's major firms are within a single time zone of you, which means tight price-discovery latency and a rich local trading community.
Local time zone: Eastern Time (ET). Trade US market hours from your local time zone — the NYSE opens at 9:30am local.

New Jersey is part of the broader New York financial-services labor market — major bank and asset-management back-office operations are concentrated in northern New Jersey, and the state has historical Bell Labs and Wall Street back-office presence. Eastern Time alignment.

How the Remote Setup Works
Maverick is a remote-first firm: traders work from home offices, dedicated trading setups, or co-working spaces across the country. We do not require relocation, do not require attendance in a physical office, and do not impose minimum-hour requirements on screen time. The role is structured around output, not presence.
