Local time zone: Eastern Time (ET). Trade US market hours from your local time zone — the NYSE opens at 9:30am local.

New York is the geographic and historical center of US capital markets. The NYSE, NASDAQ, every major investment bank, and the bulk of US hedge-fund AUM are based here. Eastern Time alignment with the NYSE is identical to the exchanges themselves.
